A secret destroys a man's perfect life and sends him on a collision course with a deadly conspiracy in this shocking thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Harlan Coben—soon to be a Netflix streaming series!
The Stranger appears out of nowhere, perhaps in a bar, or a parking lot, or at the grocery store. His identity is unknown. His motives are unclear. His information is undeniable. Then he whispers a few words in your ear and disappears, leaving you picking up the pieces of your shattered world...
Adam Price has a lot to lose: a comfortable marriage to a beautiful woman, two wonderful sons, and all the trappings of the American Dream: a big house, a good job, a seemingly perfect life.
Then he runs into the Stranger. When he learns a devastating secret about his wife, Corinne, he confronts her, and the mirage of perfection disappears as if it never existed at all. Soon Adam finds himself tangled in something far darker than even Corinne's deception, and realizes that if he doesn't make exactly the right moves, the conspiracy he's stumbled into will not only ruin lives—it will end them.

I liked it. Strong start. But I found there were so many people being brought into the plot and then it moved on when it came back to them I'd have to flip back to the pages to remind myself who they were. found it a bit confusing at the end where I had assumed it was the end. the actual ending was interesting.
Coben is quite good at what he does, twisting the plot again and again on itself to keep the momentum flying.
For what it is, top of the line. Coben keeps the twists coming, but passes the ultimate test. I end up saying, "Ah, yep, shoulda seen that coming."
An engrossing and exciting story with a plot that keeps you involved and wanting to get to the next chapter.
LOVED IT. UNEXPECTED ENDING
I have read a couple of well written books by Harlan Coben. The Stranger did not appeal to me due to the early on manipulations of the stranger. Nasty business! I never even finished the book and did not wish to. NO STARS!!!
Also a good read...5 stars...cant stay long, have another Coben novel to get to. Happy Reading!
A bit too long and drawn out, very repetitive in places. The ending was a bit surprising, and not too satisfactory.
This is the first book from this author that I have read . I really liked it from the 1st chapter and I had to keep reading after each chapter ended. The end was okay not too satisfying but maybe that wasn't the intention . Still would recommend , its a great page turner where time will just fly by when reading .
