For more than twenty years, civil war and conflict have terrorized the Acholi community of northern Uganda. Nearly 30,000 children have been abducted from their families and forced to become sex slaves and child soldiers in Joeph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). Restore Gulu: child soldiers no more, a feature length documentary, follows the story of Watoto in Gulu as they strive to help the community redefine its identity and to rebuild lives destroyed by the horror of war. Witness first hand accounts of the children who once trained to kill, are now looking for hope and a future where they can reshape the destiny of their own nation.
