Theo dreams of a better life with a real family and away from her horrible mother. Her Mother (Rai) meets a man named Cal and falls in love with him. But he doesn't like kids so she brings Theo to live with her sister Sharon. She says she will try to convince him to have Theo move in too in a few weeks (Theo seriously doubts it). On the Ferry to Victoria she meets these amazing four kids, then she faints. When she wakes up she finds out they have adopted her! She spends happy months with them until she starts to fade away. She wakes up on the Ferry like nothing happened. Then she is taken to Sharon's, and her mother leaves as fast as possible. The next few weeks are long, Theo can't stop thinking about the family. Then she meets them! They were real, but nothing like in the dream. Soon Theo finds a perfect balance. More happens but Read the book yourselves! :)
Nine year old Theo Cafferey lives with her irrisposible mother in Vancouver. When Theos mother gets an invite to live with her boyfriend, Theo must go and live with her aunt. but on the farry to victoria Theo makes a wish on a new moon and It misteriously comes true until suddenly she starts literally to fade and she is back on the farry with her mother. While in Victoria Theo meets the family from her wish but this time she does not belong to them. It is an exellent Ghost story and I just love it from begining to end!!!
Theo and her yong , irresponsible mother seem trapped in their misserable , poverty stricken life. Theo dreams of belonging to a "real " family with two parents and brothers and sisters , and her dream seeems to come true when she is mysteriously adopted by a large , waam family , the Kaldors.
For the first time in her life , Theo has brand new clothes and things of her on , security and good friends . But as time passes , the magic of Theo's new life begins -literally- to fade, and soon she finds herself back with her mother. Were the Kaldors real , or just a dream ? And who is the shadowy figure that haunts Theo's thoughts ?
