As an archivist, I really did not appreciate the story's implication that it was just a thing dropouts could do. Library work is actually highly skilled, and people go to school specifically to get degrees for it, and I don't think that should be devalued.

A spooky story with mostly POC and some queer characters, as well as sensitive treatment of mental illness while highlighting the historical brutality of psychiatric institutions.

A mysterious library, a rocky relationship, slightly creepy boss. Celeste discovers some strange things at her new job as the archivist at the Logan Museum. Completely intriguing plot and vivid illustrations make this a page turner.

Celeste Warden is desperate for a job, one that promises stability and no surprises. She gets hired as a live-in archivist at the Logan Museum, a building that used to be everything from an orphanage to a sanatorium. But not long into her stay, things start moving and disappearing. And who is the strange girl with a half-black eye that keeps showing up in her dreams? What is she trying to tell her? This is a great novel for teens who love ghosts and mystery.

I enjoyed this atmospheric little ghost story, especially because it highlighted issues of mental illness and the historically awful treatment of those diagnosed with them. Bonus points for the librarian/archiving motifs.

As a librarian and a lover of ghost stories, this book hit me on many different levels. A nice slow burn, a creepy mystery and a good look at mental illness as well. Great stuff.

It's a creepy little tale of a very mysterious medical Museum and archive where Cel gets a job, Cel is also battling depression so IS IT ALL A BIG METAPHOR? Perhaps, but you do get a bit creeped out over not having enough information about what is happening to Cel. It's also has great diverse representation in the art. Highly recommended

The pacing sometimes is a little off, but in general this is a really interesting story with very charming and creative artwork. The characters were so well developed I had a very specific voice for each person, and the story was just creepy enough. I would definitely recommend this title to everyone!

I found so many things fascinating about this graphic novel set in a museum. I liked the art style, how mental health plays a significant part of the story and I'm a sucker for a good ghost story. It's cute and creepy at the same time.
