This is my least favorite Patterson books in the Private series. It's lacking suspense and focuses too much on Jack Morgan's personal obsession with the villian. Storyline is too disjointed. Maybe the collaborating author is to blame? I didn't care for Private: The Royals either.

Huge Private fan - but this one dropped the ball - VERY boring and disappointing

I liked the book. Typical in the Private series. The chase at the end was way too long. You could skip 40 chapters and still be chasing! Short and to the point is what I love about Patterson. This had me skipping ahead too much. Come on JP.

A plot for a run-of-the-mill, big-action movie, maybe, and pretty much a waste of time, but not unexpected.

This one was awful! Too predictable and way too shmarmy. This is my last "Private" book.

This is part of the Private series by James Patterson and honestly not my favorite book of the series. While it is a mystery and does contain some suspense and action-packed moments, there are definitely parts that do drag.

Not one of Patterson's best books. Maybe he is writing books to fast and not giving them his special touch. Read maybe 1/3 of book, might finish it someday.

THE PRINCESS is a typical James Patterson PRIVATE book. Fun story to read, compulsory improbable events and escapes (Clive Cussler-esque), but not one of his better or tightly written stories that one commonly find outside the PRIVATE series. Spoiler alert - yery sad part for Jack Morgan in this one. Nevertheless, it fun distraction for a quick read.

Definitely not one of his best. Make sure you are up to date with Private Royals before reading this book, it is a bookshot by Patterson (less than 150 pages, very quick and easy read). I had not read it not realizing I should and I was quite confused because they use a lot of this bookshot as a story line in Princess. The ending was quite predictable.

I enjoy most James Patterson books. This one wasn't up to par. Could have ended much sooner. I skimmed the last 75 pages. Would not recomnend.
