Gee, hate to be a downer but just didn't like this movie. Too slow moving - almost stopped watching it. Glad I didn't as the ending was surprising.

Co-written and directed by Gustav Möller in 2018, this Danish crime thriller depicts the struggle of a Copenhagen police officer assigned to answer emergency calls at the Emergency East desk.
Although it must be one of the lowest-budget flicks, the film turns out a gripping, well-acted, and intelligently crafted high-concept thriller that gives maximum impact out of the performance of a main actor as well as the basic ingredients and effective phone conversations.

A thrill ride that never leaves a single room. Great script and superb acting. The child voice was especially poignant. This movie is worth your time.

Tension, suspense thriller. Jakob Cedergren is outstanding as the police officer on hold for an upcoming trial. He is assigned answering emergency calls, and makes so many judgement calls. So much drama with so little action, and he’s completely engaging. Outstanding.

Jaokob Cedergren is an excellent Danish actor. I have also seen him in "Those Who Kill", an excellent Danish series. The Guilty is a tidy little movie, contained to a 911 call centre (or 112 if you are in Denmark) Other characters in the movie are by phone calls only. Asgar, our main character is a police detective who has been reassigned to the 911 call centre pending an investigation into his shooting of a young suspect. One night he receives an emergency call from a woman who has been kidnapped and is being transported somewhere. Based on that call and a few other details gleaned from subsequent calls, Asgar manages to piece together who she is and who has kidnapped her. Through a series of dropped and misdialed calls, the stories unfolds: the investigation into Asgar's pending investigation, and the kidnapped young woman. Excellent "who done it". Suspenseful, and intriguing as the stories unfold. The DVD is in English or Danish, as well as English, Danish and Swedish subtitles. The subtitling is very well done.

I enjoyed this movie. This is not a movie you would want to watch many times but it's better to watch it in one take without interruptions because every detail is important and as the story progresses you feel more and more captivated and eager to find out how it's going to end. And the movie is all in Danish so you'll have to read subtitles.

Don't think this was a great movie but it was also not a bad movie. It was an interesting movie I think. 95% of the movie is 1 guy talking on either the phone or police radio but works nicely. Plus, there is a couple of twists near the end that I did not see coming. You will most likely have to read the subtitles.
