Add a CommentDon’t Smile at Me is Billie Eilish’s first album that consists of eight amazing songs! Each song represents different thoughts and emotions. Some of the songs like Ocean Eyes and Bellyache have very relaxing tones while others like &burn and Copycat are more serious and sometimes even scary but overall, every one of them is great and so enjoyable. You can listen to the album any time of the day! My favourite song is Ocean Eyes because it’s so beautiful and well written. Billie’s voice is absolutely amazing. It was also her top song on the album. I recommend it to anyone 10+. 4.5/5

Dont Smile at Me is singer-songwriter Billie Eilish's debut EP. Despite only being eight songs long, I personally found it very difficult to distinguish each of the songs separately, making the EP as a whole almost blend together. Though this may have been a goal of the EP, I personally didn’t find anything extraordinarily remarkable because of it. I was reminded of the early 2000s slowed down vibe from her music. Some of the songs I enjoyed included idontwanttobeyouanymore and Party Favour. Overall a decent EP and I can see the appeal of her music but it's not necessarily my taste. 3 Stars

Not as upbeat as her full length album but she takes more of a folk singer songwriter approach to a number of these tunes. Still an excellent disc IMHO
😔 Smiling is the last thing you'll be doing, after you listen to these depressing chants and dirges.
