I love Louisa May Alcott, and this is one of her stories. It is a good family story and I enjoyed watching the family come together at Thanksgiving. I love the fact the oldest daughter writes the grandmother she has never met that a band of gypsy have taken a family member, and they need her assistance. Of course grandmother is curious to see what is really going on in her daughters life since she ran away from home to marry the stable hand. Family film.

This is a wonderful story about a family who learns to draw closer together during challenging times. A surprise visitor is willing to give aid, although it is not accepted right away. Tilly's budding young romance is exciting too.
