Julian Noble is an unshaven, unnerved and unpredictable freelance assassin, who happens to encounter desperate businessman Danny Wright in the bar of a modern Mexico City hotel. Danny is intrigued when Julian reveals that he's a "facilitator of fatalities," and his wife becomes equally fascinated when Julian shows up unexpectedly, six months later, at Danny's home in Denver. Having lost his touch as a reliable hit-man, Julian needs Danny's help with "one last job," but the logistics of Julian's lethal profession brings them both in contact with other employees out to get Julian.

Add a CommentA globetrotting hitman and a crestfallen businessman meet in a hotel bar in Mexico City in an encounter that draws them together in a way neither expected. I liked this movie.
Not worth watching. A big disappointment as a Brosnan fan.
This film works on so many levels. For one, Pierce Brosnan gives one of the finest performances I've ever seen as a burnt-out, mentally unstable hitman. Two, it is a fascinating character study. Three, it is absolutely hilarious. But most of all, the relationship that develops between Brosnan and Greg Kinnear's characters makes for one of the funniest, most believable, and most genuinely touching buddy pairings in cinema history.
You've never seen Pierce Brosnan like this! An acutely informed rendering of a rather dislikeable character. This is why we like indie films.
