Pink Friday is the first studio album by the rapper and singer, Nicki Minaj. This CD came out around six years ago, but I constantly listen to it. I feel as if this album is underrated, and nobody has heard the transition in rap between Nicki Minaj then, and now. Every song on Pink Friday is creative, and I especially like how Minaj's voice has been the same then, as it is to present day. There are fourteen songs on this album, and they are all great! If you adore rap, I recommend Pink Friday. Nicki Minaj produced this album, showing to the world that it is not impossible to be a female rapper, nor odd to be. She raps just as efficiently as men, and you can clearly tell on these tracks. Some of my favourite songs on Pink Friday include: "Here I am", "Blazin", "Dear Old Nicki", as well as "Fly-ft Rihanna". Nicki Minaj has many great collaborations with musicians from Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, as well as Drake. This is not my favourite album by Nicki Minaj, but since it is her first, it has an impact on me I can't quite explain. I would rate this album 4/5, and if you are looking for an even better album, listen to "The Pinkprint", I reviewed it already and it happens to be one of the best this rapper has created.
