There were some interesting visuals- the upside down tango room, for instance- but overall this was not a good movie. I think a big part of the problem was that it was presented as more of a sci-fi movie, but played as fantasy. That can work, but only if there is a logic that applies correctly throughout the movie. Here it just never felt right. Two worlds hovering less than a mile apart, but objects from each only feel gravity from the homeworld. Daylight seemed very earthlike- as if a sun was overhead, and not another planet. A scene were anti-gravity makeup is applied to an old woman, magically transforming her into a young beauty, as if gravity alone is what makes people look old. I pretty much gave up on this movie about 45 minutes into it; when the ending finally came it seemed like the writers had given up too.
