Well, somebody should be ashamed. The Columbine shootings are distorted and repackaged as a Christian vs. atheist coming of age story; no prizes for guessing which side is which. For those wondering if this film is a substantially true depiction of events, no, not according to Rachel Joy Scott's father. The producers even add a child with Downs' Syndrome, who never existed, for RJS to talk to occasionally, to emphasize how "perfect" she was. Which is a pity, because a film with less of an agenda and more reality would be interesting and insightful. As it is, who cares about those other kids who died, or what really happened? This films is about a budding Anne Frank (they wish)!
