📖 One of Swift's early works was "A Tale of a Tub." It shows the genius of Swift by not being about a tub. It is about three brothers, each of whom is left a coat by their father. They are rather unusual coats, guaranteed to fit for a lifetime and to grow along with the wearer. The only catch is that no style changes are to be made in the coats. "A Tale of a Tub" is not only not about a tub, it is not about three brothers and their coats. It is about the Christian religion. If the reader is confused, he must remember that Swift hated people, and this is one way he had of getting back at them.
